Let's have a bender...
The April meeting was highed as one where some serious bending was the order of the day. More precisely, a large swamp cypress and a juniper (not sure which sort). These bends were brought about via the use of wire as well as a bending bar. Some serious muscles and serious nerves were required. It seemed that both trees and owners were not the worse for wear.
We were also provided with a demonstration in the proper maintenance of your tools.
Don't forget about the local business HIGHFIELD'S PRODUCE (opposite the Toowoomba Christian College on the road to Highfields) to get your supply of diatomite, sold as 'Kleensorb'. Tell them you heard about it from our website! See last month's page for further use and details.
